Is it allowable to trade art early entry passes

Turns out one of my teammates has a ride to the playa but will be there Thursday. Does anyone know if its "legal" with Burning Man/Artery/Gate/etc to trade Art EA passes? I know a member of another team that won't be arriving till Friday but has a Thursday pass. It would work out perfectly, but we both don't want to risk losing entry all together. Its not worth that... Just checking if anyone here knows. I know that the Theme Camp EA passes

EA Passes are a barcode, they dont have names attached. kicker is that the barcode can only be scanned once, after that it is null.

so - theres no problem getting in on any EA pass. Just dont screw someone by copying and getting there before them.
