This year's music...

This year's music...

Postby tinxwinx » Wed Jul 20, 2011 12:31 pm

Last years music of choice was dubstep. As much as I despise dubstep, I feel it fit metropolis nicely. With rites of passage being this years theme, I wonder what the music genre of choice will be. Any ideas people?

As long as the folks with the big sound are enchanted with dubstep, that's what we'll get. I know Basscamp is still steppin'.
I'm too jaded to think up a good sig-line. Need more coffee.

The music wafting onto Divorce St. from our camp will be classic rock n roll along with some heavy metal, acid rock, a few pop, R&B, blues and select techno/trance.

The playa will echo will thousands of indigenous shamanic chants and I will pierce my eardrums with a sharpened pencil.

My guess is glitch hop and drumstep as the more popular choices this year

People will bring and play an abundance of most genres, in my experience it's mostly a matter of finding what resonates with you. Whatever I've brought out with me, or whatever pre-event suspicions I might have about what I might like best or connect with most usually end up getting turned on their ear anyway, so this year I'm trying to head out without many pre-conceived ideas.
