Hiya! I'm kinda new here to the eplaya, but I thought y'all might be interested in this great opportunity to see your short films projected on a 17' screen / sculpture, namely THE ENGINE THEATER. Also, we're looking for funds to help get this beautiful monster to the playa. If'n you're interested in contributing FILMS, LOVE, MONEY, or SPECTATION (you know, that thing spectators do) please read on...

BLACK ROCK FILM FEST CALL FOR ENTRIES NOW OPEN!

The 2nd annual Black Rock Film Fest will be presented by the Boston Underground Film Festival and the Engine Theater.

Our open air theater will show the best short films from around the world to an international audience of art and film lovers who descend on Burning Man every year for fun, art and experience in the northern Nevada desert. Films do not need to be about Burning Man, we seek to present a showcase of the best short films from around the world about any subject.

The 2011 Black Rock Film Fest will kick off with a Red Carpet Opening Night Gala before the first program on Monday night and conclude with a Wrap Party after the last films on Friday night. Plus every night we will be hosting cocktail hour before and between screenings at our Casting Couch Bar. Have your art projected onto art!
