Oh- I love dead composers, I'm just not a big Tchaikovsky fan. 1812 is nice, but waaaaaaaaaaaay overplayed. It's like no one else ever wrote something dramatic.
To me sunrise is more Bruckner's Symphony #4. Nice build, dramatic but with soft interludes. Love this symphony- however, it's not the playa at all. It may be Yggy's hof, but it's definitely not the playa
(Yggy's hof might actually be more "Finlandia" by Sibelius)
