My suggestion is to put the rites of passage in some sort of roughly chronological order. Perhaps confusing for burners who first experienced sex after graduation, but still far more intuitive than parts of a boat:

I see they could go a couple ways with this. One strong possibility is to simply name the stages of life, Birth, Death, Adolesence, and so on. Another pretty strong option is that they would name each street after a very specific rite of passage, like a Bris or similar.

Just Some Ideas:

A-AFTER LIFE/ACCOLADE/ANNAPRSHANA (a Hindu rite of passage)
B-BIRTH/BRIS/BAT or BAR MITZFA
C-CIRCUMCISION/CREMATION/CONFIRMATION/COMING OUT
D-DEATH
E-EDUCATION/ELECTION/EUCHARIST/ENGAGEMENT
F-FIRST KISS/FIRST STEP/FIRST LOVE/FUNERAL
G-GESTATION/GRADUATION
H-HAZING/HAJJ
I-INITIATION/INDEPENDENCE
J-JURY DUTY/JOURNEY
K-KISS/KRYPTEIA/KETUBAH
