Looking for Scrap Propane Tanks

Hey there eplaya community. I'm building an art piece for 2010 and I am looking for accumulator (aka "vapor") propane tanks. These can be "scrap" as in, old and un-recertifiable. All they need to be is structurally sound, and have good threads in the top so they hold pressure. We'll remove the valves. Propane companies usually have lots of these lying around.

Anyone have any for sale for cheap? Anyone have some lying around that they don't want any more? Anyone know someone who knows someone who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night who's Uncle Jimbob has four lying around in his yard he wants to trade a case of PBR for?

I'm willing to pay small amounts of cash, but would prefer to barter for other art (I'm a photographer).

I can come to you anywhere in the Bay Area or Reno / Sparks (or points in between) to pick up.
