Another idea for a sign:

Have "Barbarian Camp" in Conan-movie font, and have a sword going through "Camp" like the word 'Conan' in the "Conan The Barbarian" movie title .

I wonder how much that would cost to do?

We're barbarians. I'm assuming more than a few of us, if not all of us, will be carrying swords, axes, etc.

What can I say-- after doing so many events where it's a requirement --and add to the fact that this is government land-- I assumed they wanted that here, too.

So, we're responsible for our weapons, peace-tied or not. Got it .

We heard a lot of good things about the obstacle course .

Inside jokes to remember:

--When pulling up a stake, get a grunt or a Canadian.

--The Green Goblin was our best 'customer' and best source of advertising.

--Yes, you can go across the rope swings backwards, forwards, and upside down .

--One rock is the wimpy, girly rock. The other rock is the manly, hernia-making rock.

--"Bonehead the Barbarian". He pulls other people's knives and has a goofy helmet .

--When abducting the other camp's women (even if they *requested* it), make sure you have your weapons ready-- they just might want to retaliate . If I was wearing pants, I would have been caught with them down.

--I live in a van. Now I just need to find a river to live down by .

It was definitely an adventure.
