How hard or soft is the Playa this year?

Did we get enough rain this year to help harden up the surface? Has anyone been out there? Last year we had to work for every inch we rode our bikes unlike years past. I was wondering what we can expect this year.

well, really "hard" and "soft" are so relative......

dirt is soft compared to landing on pavement.........

sometimes, I get a "diamond cutting blue veiner" that will put silicon carbide drills to shame.....

just depends on what you're comparing.........
