WiFi on the Playa?

Anyone know if there will be any WiFi (open, non password protected) on the playa this year?

This is my 9th year, and I know in years past people made various attempts at it, or maybe piggybacked on some org bandwidth. It's been over 5 years since I last tried it and was wondering how Wifi (if any) has evolved since then.

The reason I ask is, it would be really cool to surf Japanese school girl farting porn on the playa.

Oh..and to email our camp-mates who are arriving late if we need anything.

Last year, two in our camp found open, non-password protected wi-fi... but it was REALLY S.L.O.W... (the anecdotal reason being that people are uploading pictures of the event to blogs, friends, etc...

But emailing should be okay. Best place to look is Center Camp.
