Hello everyone, I am need of some burner-made "commercials" to be aired at this years burn over the open television airwaves. I also need some help deciding what to put on some of the other channels that we will have avalible to us this year aside from the ones that we are currently preparing for :twisted: . If you have any ideas or would like to send some videos to be aired feel free to email them to me or e-mail a link to me, NO CHILD PORN is my only request. Two girls one cup will be aired on the debut BRCTV channel to give some idea as to what we are planning.

We have plenty of "sit and watch" or "sit and listen" or "sit and read" entertainment options out there. This is just one more. If you aren't interested, you don't have to watch. I'm curious to see what will happen. It will have to be pretty damn good to get people to start bringing tvs in the future!

I wouldn't mind seeing this evolve as a viable BM medium. Same was said about the radio stations and the newspapers over the years. Some of the radio and print from the past has been quite delightful.

That is why we are asking for input from fellow burners, please take advantage of this opportunity as we are very interested in what kind of videos we can air that are from our peers. our intentions are not to harm the burning man culture but to offer another medium of truly free expression without interference from outside forces such as the FCC. i mean radio is nice but video is better... right? lol

I have to agree with DB on this one. BM is about actively doing things. Sitting around and being a looky-loo isn't what this is all about. It's a cool idea, don't get me wrong, but I think this is just not the right place for it, ya know?

I respectfully disagree. Film is art and watching film is participating in art. Besides that, you can't be out-and-about the whole week or you'd be burned out before the man is. I embrace the opportunity to just sit and do nothing for an hour or two.

I caught one of last years broadcasts while I was sitting out a dust storm. On a lark I brought my little b&w portable. I don't know who the artist was, but they did an amazing rendition of the dust storm on Channel 13. Maybe it was live? It looked just like the storm. Bravo!

Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro (3:30 and Dart) is a pro-media camp. We never met a microphone or camera we didn't like. If you want some footage (cannot and will not guarantee our degree of sobriety) come on by. After all, what's the worst that could happen? A good time would probably be around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday when the 5th Annual Black Rock City World Naked Bike Ride & Pub Crawl makes it's triumphant return to "The Friendliest Concentration Camp On The Playa".

Sounds great to me. I'm a film maker and many other artists think just because you don't have the typical interaction of other art forms, that film and tv is not interactive. completly bogus notion, The Rocky Horror Picture Show dispelled that myth years ago.

That I do. A few short comedies and a Cop comedy along the lines of Upright Citesence Brigade meets Monty Python. I'd love to show them if it works out.
