It's perfectly obvious....

Despotic regimes that want to maintain control over the population, award medals for everything.

Ok, bravery is one thing, but ya gotta branch out in this biz... ya know-- medals for just showing up... medals for not farting in the chowline... medals for remembering to throw up away from kitchen and sleeping areas... etc etc.

Any chance we can arrange some kind of music venue for Terminal City? Although if Club Verbotten is near by that may be fine? I love Club Verbotten.

Or add some kind of "DJ" setup to WTF Radio 99.9? HUM...none of the stations on the playa are actually broadcasting from a dance club? Except maybe K-SVERT 106.5?

Just some way to have a dance area and have some kind of live control of the music?

Well, unfortunately some of us have landlords who just say "NO!" to pets, but may be open to us parking a huge, decaying vehicle on the city street by the building.... (Go figure!)

Two sheriffs got out of their car to be photographed with Mantis.

Three BLM officers got out of their golf cart to chat with me, while I was setting up art on the playa. I even got them to help me unload my pickup truck!
