Psychedelic Hip Hop Girls@ 2 + Esplanada Dome w Green Laser

They were so amazing, I couldn't stand it. In the big open air dome that was set back like 200 feet from the Esplanade, where the giant green laser originated.

All their songs were original, and performed live, 5 tank girl-esque hip hop chicks on stage. It was about 3:00 am, Friday night. I need to find their music again. So unusual to see and hear on the playa.

Ha! Found them! It was "Goddess Alchemy Project" - some amazing, beautiful , diva goddesses from Oakland.



Some of their music can be heard streaming off of their Myspace site. I really felt soooooooooooo lucky to have caught their amazing performance. I was in such a great state of mind, having the best night ever. And my two friends and I were about to move on to a new adventure, away from 2 and Esplanade, when we said, "real quick before we go, let's go see where the big green laser originates."

And there they were. So different from any music heard on the playa, so perfect. Everyone dancing. Such a different pace.

Ahhhhh. I think that was the same dome Glitch Mob rocked it in on wednesday night. Some of the most filthy dirty breakbeats ever. Good times.

That set was crazy! Probably the best hip-hop performance i have ever seen. It was especially cool because earlier that day a friend and I were talking about how there aren't really any female mc's that interest us.

My friend had told about like this. But, i couldn't faith him that day.But, now i am sure, he was right that day.

I think they are all goddess or may be another planets creatures. So, just leave it & forget like a dream of previous nigh.
